Panos Stephanides was born in Nicosia. He is the son of Cypriot artists Katy and Tassos Stephanides. He graduated from the Higher School of Fine
Arts of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki where he studied painting on scholarship by the Scholarship Foundation of Greece (IKY).

He also studied sculpture at the Athens School of Fine Arts of the University of Athens. Panos attended drama at the Diamantopoulos School in Athens as well as classical singing at the Conservatory of Athens.
He has had nine solo exhibitions, and his works have been represented in exhibitions abroad. He exhibited his works for the first time at age 14 at the EKATE pancyprian exhibition as exceptional talent. Also he has represented Cyprus in exhibitions abroad.
Panos has won distinctions for his work as well as having been awarded the second prize for the best project in Cyprus for his work Portal To The Third Millennium organized by the Loukia and Michael Zambelas Art Museum and judged by an international committee with the participation of well-known judges of panEuropean and international competitions including Spencer and Serafini.
