She says: “I felt like an animal just come out of hiding when I returned to the forest after the long hard winter. I was surprised at just how different everything seemed. new life had sprouted in familiar parts, whereas in other parts further felling of the trees now scarred the hillside. I love how I have been able to witness the forests ever-changing landscape; sprouting, growing and dying... life/death/life. always moving in cycles.
I built myself a nest amidst all the destruction in a newly felled part of the forest; a safe place that assured me that we can always find peace in a constantly changing and chaotic world around us.”
