I was born in 1952, in Kiryat Tivon, and continues to live there today, with my family: wife and 3 children. I was given my first camera at the age of
13 as a bar mitzvah gift from my father, who also
was a keen photographer who used to take pictures of his family and Israeli landscapes before the establishment of the State and during its first few decades. I followed in my father's footsteps, devoted my time to photography, combining two loves: photography and Israeli landscapes. My initial photographs document my life growing up as an Israeli teenager in the 1960s, commemorating the landscapes of my childhood in the Jezreel Valley, the Galilee and the Golan, where I never ceased to travel with my friends.13 as a bar mitzvah gift from my father, who also
