The Aura and the unmistakable instinct of a dog made me stay up until five in the morning The perception of this

amazing Argentinean director, grabbed me from sleep.
 

A truly masterly psychological thriller, slow, excruciating as to the outcome of the story, he writes with images of the main character, who is an epileptic taxidermist of animals, has a photographic memory, and dreams about committing a robbery.

He goes hunting with a friend, but not a very close friend, and from there it all begins. And all this in the mountains of Patagonia, with scenes in the evocative and atmospheric forest making this film noir equally evocative and atmospheric.

The introverted main character, protagonist, is greatly captured by the actor, Ricardo Darin, who gives a very strong interpretation fighting among other things with his inner self, and his personal desires. The disorders of all the characters are presented with reliefs, and the profiles of the criminals write very realistically.

A favorite  movie. And most-liked scene, where the main character looks in the eyes the dark gray dog. They say it all with a silence between them.
This is the second and last movie of this amazing director, Fabian Bielinsky. From Argentina and very talented, Production 2005. It’s a pity he’s gone so young, not even in his 50s. However it is known that good art presses down time.
